Fondato nel 2013, l’Italian Institute for the Future è un’organizzazione no-profit di ricerca, formazione, consulenza e divulgazione nel settore dei futures studies, con l’obiettivo di diffondere una cultura dell’anticipazione, della previsione sociale e dello studio dei megatrend in Italia, sviluppando scenari e analisi di lungo termine a tutti i livelli decisionali, promuovendo politiche sostenibili e lungimiranti per l’Italia di domani. Dal 2018 è membro istituzionale della World Futures Studies Federation. L’Italian Institute for the Future pubblica semestralmente la rivista scientifica Futuri, oltre a volumi e paper di ricerca sugli studi di futuro e l'analisi dei megatrend.
Founded in 2013, the Italian Institute for the Future is a non-profit research, training, consulting and dissemination organization in the field of futures studies, with the aim of spreading a culture of anticipation, social forecasting and the study of megatrends in Italy, developing long-term scenarios and analysis at all levels of decision-making, promoting sustainable and forward-looking policies for the Italy of tomorrow. Since 2018 it has been an institutional member of the World Futures Studies Federation.The Italian Institute for the Future publishes the scientific journal Futuri semi-annually, as well as volumes and research papers on future studies and megatrend analysis.
