SUIGENERIS

SuiGeneris is an independent publisher, and point of reference for many Italian readers. We publish fiction, nonfiction, poetry, psychology, philosophy, theatre, young adult and humor in Italian and in translation.SuiGeneris was founded by 23-year-old Oriana Conte in 2014. Since then, she has been identifying freelancers, authors, and illustrators among talented young people.SuiGeneris is celebrating its ten years of life by publishing, this year and next, great authors from all over the world. Since 2021 SuiGeneris has been managing a bookstore in the three venues of the Teatro Stabile di Torino (Turin National Theatre).As a publishing house, we believe – and invest – in new authors, in their writing quality, and in the ability of books to deal with issues crucial to the society we live in.We also believe that reading cannot be confined to the classics; with this in mind, we cooperate with school teachers to promote a culture of reading and understanding for students of all ages.
