The XXXVII edition

The Turin International Book Fair is back for its five-day celebration of books, authors, readers and publishers at the Lingotto Fiere, from Thursday, May 15th to Monday, May 19th. It is the second edition under the editorial direction of writer and journalist Annalena Benini.

The teme

The key visual of the 2025 edition was designed by illustrator Benedetta Fasson.

Inspired by a verse by poet Eugenio Montale, which became the title of the Strega Award-winning novel by Lalla Romano, "Le parole tra noi leggere" is the theme of the XXXVII edition of the Turin International Book Fair.

A foretaste of the 2025 program

The first international guests

The full programme disclosure will be in April.

The inaugural lecture by writer and playwright Yasmina Reza will be followed by an international program featuring guests such as Tracy Chevalier, Victoire Tuaillon, Jhumpa Lahiri, Joël Dicker, Georgi Gospodinov, Etgar Keret, Valérie Perrin, Rie Qudan, Saito Kōhei, Adiana Shibli, and Scott Turow.

The Discovery of Holland

The Netherlands are guest country of the 2025 edition.

The programme of events is inspired by the title of the novel by best-selling author Jan Brokken.

The main focus will be the art of translation, with authors from the Dutch linguistic area and their Italian voices; the Poem Boot will explore the complex relationship between creativity and technological developments.

The Rights Centre

The now traditional event dedicated to all international publishing professionals returns to the Lingotto Congress Centre from Wednesday, May 14 to Friday, May 16, in the Salone del Libro space dedicated to the buying and selling of editorial and audiovisual rights.
